Here are some key points for your awareness: By registering for an account on our affiliated websites or mobile applications, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, comprehended, and consented to all the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement, along with our Privacy Policy.

Pera assumes no responsibility and explicitly denies any liability for damages of any nature that may arise from the use, reference to, or reliance on any information found within the site or mobile app. Although the information on the site is regularly updated, there is no assurance that the content provided on this website is accurate, comprehensive, and current.

While the Pera Website may contain links that offer direct access to various Internet resources, including websites, Pera does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or content of information found on these sites. The inclusion of links from Pera to third-party sites should not be construed as an endorsement by Pera of the parties or their products and services.

At present, Digital Currency Services lack regulation from the Financial Conduct Authority or any other governing body. It is essential for you to thoroughly assess whether engaging in the trading or holding of Digital Currencies aligns with your financial situation.

1. PERA SERVICES

1.1. Qualification. In order to utilize the Pera Services, you must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years or older. Digital Currency Services. Pera provides you with the following services collectively referred to as the "Digital Currency Services": one or more hosted digital currency wallets that allow you to store, monitor, transfer, and oversee the balances of specific supported digital currencies, such as BITCOIN, ETHEREUM, BNB, and Doge (referred to as the "Digital Currency Wallet" and "Digital Currency," respectively); a Digital Currency exchange service that facilitates obtaining prices for your purchases and sales of Digital Currencies (referred to as a "DC Exchange"); and a Digital Currency conversion service that allows you to buy and sell Digital Currencies in transactions with Pera (referred to as the "Conversion Services").

2. PERA ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS

2.1. Pera Account Registration: To utilize Pera Services, you are required to create a Pera Account ("Account"). This involves furnishing your name, email address, phone number, password, and agreeing to the terms outlined in this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to deny the opening of a Pera Account or restrict the number of Accounts per user. 2.2. Identity Verification: You commit to providing information for identity verification and detecting financial crimes such as money laundering and fraud. Before accessing Pera Services, you must complete verification procedures. The details we may request include personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, taxpayer identification number, government identification number, and bank account information. You confirm the accuracy of this information and agree to keep it updated. You authorize us to conduct necessary inquiries, possibly involving third parties, to verify your identity and protect against fraud. During these inquiries, your personal information may be shared with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies, who may respond to our inquiries. This process is solely for identity verification and should not impact your credit rating. Additionally, we may impose a waiting period after transactions before allowing further use of Pera Services or engaging in transactions beyond certain limits. By using Pera Services, you grant permission to your wireless operator for identity verification purposes. 2.3. Access: Access to Pera Services requires the necessary equipment (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer) and an active Internet connection. Direct access to Pera Services can be achieved through the Pera Site.

3. DIGITAL CURRENCY SERVICES

3.1. General Overview. Your Digital Currency Wallet empowers you to initiate Digital Currency Transactions by instructing the Pera Site to send Digital Currency to, or receive and store it from, third parties (each such transaction is termed a "Digital Currency Transaction"). 3.2. Handling Digital Currency Transactions. We will execute Digital Currency Transactions based on the instructions you provide. It is crucial to verify all transaction information before submitting instructions. We cannot guarantee the identity of any user, receiver, requestee, or other party. Once broadcasted to the relevant Digital Currency network, a Digital Currency Transaction cannot be reversed. During a pending state, Digital Currency associated with transactions will be designated accordingly, excluding it from your Digital Currency Wallet balance for conducting further transactions. We may impose network fees (miner fees) to process Digital Currency Transactions on your behalf. The calculation of network fees is at our discretion, with potential notification to you at or before authorizing the Digital Currency Transaction. Note that most transaction fees are deducted from your BNB balance, so ensure sufficient funds for crypto transactions. We retain the right to refuse or cancel pending Digital Currency Transactions as required by law or any applicable court or authority. 3.3. Supported Digital Currencies. Our Digital Currency Services are only available for digital currencies supported by Pera, subject to change. Do not attempt to use your Digital Currency Wallet for unsupported digital currencies. We assume no responsibility for any attempt to use your Digital Currency Wallet for unsupported currencies, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in moving or selling Digital Currency that is no longer supported. 3.4. Third Party Payments. We do not accept third-party payments via bank transfer or card payment, both for buying and selling products. We have no control or liability for the goods or services purchased or sold to or from third parties using Pera Digital Currency Services. Disputes should be resolved directly with the involved third party. 3.5. Advanced Protocols. Unless officially announced, we do not support Advanced Protocols. Do not use your Pera Account for transactions involving unsupported Advanced Protocols, and we disclaim any responsibility for such protocols. 3.6. Digital Currency Protocol Operation. We do not own or control the underlying software protocols governing supported Digital Currencies. These protocols are generally open source, and we assume no responsibility for their operation, security, or availability. You acknowledge the risk that software protocols may change, especially due to sudden rule changes ("forks"), which may affect the value, function, or name of stored Digital Currency. We may provide notices or alerts on forks, but it is your responsibility to be aware of and address upcoming forks. In the event of a fork, we may temporarily suspend operations without advance notice and may decline to support either branch of the fork. You accept the risks associated with forks, and we have no responsibility to assist in moving or selling an unsupported branch of a forked protocol.

4. TRANSACTION LIMITS AND ENHANCED DUE DILIGENCE

4.1. Transaction Limits: Your use of all Pera Services is bound by limits on the transaction volume, specified in your local currency, that you can conduct or transfer within a specific period (e.g., daily). To check these limits, log in to your Pera Account. Your transaction limits may vary based on the verification steps you have completed and other relevant factors. We retain the right to modify these limits as we see fit. If you desire to increase your limits beyond the posted amounts, you can submit a request through our support system. 4.2. Enhanced Due Diligence: We may request additional information about you or your business, ask for records, and arrange meetings with Pera staff (referred to as "Enhanced Due Diligence"). While we reserve the right to charge you for costs and fees associated with Enhanced Due Diligence, we will notify you in advance if we intend to do so. At our discretion, we may decline to raise your limits, or we may subsequently lower them even if you have completed Enhanced Due Diligence.

5. SUSPENSION, TERMINATION, AND CANCELLATION

5.1 Suspension, Termination, and Cancellation. We retain the right to: (a) reject, block, cancel, or reverse any transaction you have authorized; (b) suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of the Pera Services; and/or (c) promptly deactivate or cancel your Pera Account for various reasons, including, but not limited to, situations where: - We reasonably believe it is necessary under applicable law, court orders, or other authorities in any jurisdiction; - There is a reasonable suspicion of your violation of this Agreement; - Concerns arise about the accuracy of a transaction, the security of your Pera Account, or potential fraudulent or unauthorized use of Pera Services; - There are suspicions of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crimes; - Your credit, debit card, or any other valid payment method linked to your Digital Currency Wallet is declined; - Your Pera Account is subject to pending litigation, investigation, or government proceedings, or if we perceive a heightened risk of legal or regulatory non-compliance associated with your Account activity; - You engage in actions that may circumvent our controls, such as opening multiple SteemX Accounts or abusing promotions we may offer from time to time. We also reserve the right to refuse completion of an authorized transaction if there is an insufficient balance in your Pera Account and/or insufficient Digital Currency in your Digital Currency Wallet to cover the transaction and associated fees at the time we receive notification of the transaction. In the event of refusing a transaction, suspending or closing your Pera Account, or terminating your use of Pera Services, we will, unless prohibited by law, provide notice of our actions along with the reasons for refusal, suspension, or closure. If applicable, we will also outline the procedure for correcting any factual errors that led to the refusal, suspension, or closure. Should we refuse to complete a transaction or suspend your Pera Account, we will lift the suspension as soon as reasonably practicable once the reasons no longer exist. However, there is no obligation on our part to allow you to reinstate a transaction at the same price or on the same terms as the suspended, reversed, or canceled transaction. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of the SteemX Services, deactivate or cancel your SteemX Account, without providing a specific reason, by giving you two months notice. You acknowledge that our decisions, including limiting access, suspending, or closing your SteemX Account, may be based on confidential criteria essential to our risk management and security protocols. You agree that we are not obligated to disclose the details of our risk management and security procedures to you. Upon termination of this Agreement, unless prohibited by applicable law or court orders, you may transfer Digital Currency and/or your Digital Currency Wallet(s) for ninety (90) days thereafter.

6. LIABILITY

6.1. Release of Pera: In the event of a dispute with one or more users of the Pera Services, you acknowledge that neither we nor our affiliates, service providers, officers, directors, agents, joint venturers, employees, and representatives will be held responsible for any claims, demands, or damages (actual and consequential) arising from or connected to such disputes. 6.2. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify us, our affiliates, and service providers, as well as each of our respective officers, directors, agents, employees, and representatives, for reasonable costs, including attorneys' fees and any fines, fees, or penalties imposed by regulatory authorities, incurred in connection with claims, demands, or damages resulting from your breach and/or our enforcement of this Agreement. 6.3. Limitations of Liability: 6.3.A. Liability Cap: Our liability to you is limited to the combined value of Digital Currency and E-Money in your E-Money Wallet and Digital Currency Wallet at any given time. For specific claims related to a transaction, this sum is further restricted to the amount of the disputed transaction. 6.3.B. Limitation of Loss: In addition to the liability cap in Section 6.3.A., we, our affiliates, and service providers, along with our respective officers, directors, agents, employees, or representatives, shall not be liable for certain types of loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profits, reputation, business, or data. 6.3.C. Applicable Law: The liability limitations in Section 6.3 are subject to our obligations under applicable law, and they do not restrict our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, deliberate misconduct, or injury resulting from negligence. 6.4. No Warranties: Pera services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any express or implied warranties, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 6.5. Safety and Security: Pera is not responsible for damage or interruptions caused by computer viruses, malware, phishing, or other attacks. Users are advised to use reputable virus screening software and exercise caution regarding suspicious communications. 6.6. No Liability for Breach: We are not liable for breaches of the Agreement due to abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, or where the breach results from the application of mandatory legal rules.

7. CUSTOMER FEEDBACK, QUERIES, COMPLAINTS, AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

7.1. Reach out to Pera. If you wish to provide feedback, pose inquiries, or express grievances, please get in touch with us through our Customer Support channel. When reaching out, kindly furnish us with your name, address, and any additional information necessary for us to identify you, your Pera Account, and the specific transaction related to your feedback, questions, or complaints. 7.2. Lodging Complaints. In the event of a complaint, clearly outline the cause, your preferred resolution, and any other pertinent information. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint, and a Customer Complaints officer ("Officer") will impartially assess it based on the details you've supplied and any information provided by Pera. Within 15 business days from receiving your complaint, the Officer will address all raised points in a Resolution Notice, offering to resolve the complaint as requested, rejecting it with reasons, or proposing an alternative solution. In exceptional circumstances causing a delay beyond 15 business days, the Officer will send a holding reply specifying the reasons and the deadline for a response, which will be no later than 35 business days from our receipt of your complaint. 7.3. Resolutions Offered. Any resolution proposed to you becomes binding on us only upon your acceptance. Such an offer does not imply any admission of wrongdoing or liability on our part regarding the subject matter of the complaint. 7.4. Claims Procedure. Before resorting to legal action, agree to follow the complaints procedure outlined in this Agreement. You commit to contacting us or referring a dispute to us according to this Agreement before initiating any legal claim. Failure to adhere to the procedures outlined in Section 7 before filing a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction grants us the right to request the court to dismiss your filing unless and until you complete the specified steps above.
